Art in Very Unexpected Public Places

I was at the Hawaii Department of Health building at 1250 Punchbowl St. in downtown Honolulu recently. In pursuing my health and fitness goals, I take the stairs instead of the elevator as often as I can.

Imagine my surprise when I found artwork and some painted walls in the normally institutional stairwells of government buildings.

Next time you go to a building, opt for the stairs, you never know what you might find!
