Lines!

If our honeymoon to DC could be described in one word, it would be "lines" - as in the kind you have to stand in for long periods of time.
 
Here's my view standing in line to get tickets to ride to the top of the Washington Monument. This is at 8:30, but the tours don't even start till 9. And I'm told lines start as early as 6:30!
